George Osborne says he is "optimistic" of a deal being reached to avoid a 'cliff-edge crisis' in Scotland.

Officers then noticed the suspect had a bottle of baby oil in his hand and attempted to detain him, authorities said.
D'Amato resisted and then fled northbound on Main Street, police said.
D'Amato was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility where he was later booked and charged with the alleged sexual assault. He made his first court appearance Friday and was ordered held without bail pending a mental evaluation.
D'Amato, 50, was convicted of sexual assault in 2002 against a 7-year-old boy, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said.
According to criminal court records, the child was allegedly sexually abused while visiting D'Amato at his home on Longmeadow Avenue in Paterson. D'Amato initially was charged with sexual abuse, luring a minor, endangering the welfare of a child and indecent behavior in public, though a court dismissed the charges in 2004.
D'Amato also has a previous conviction in 2012 for sexually assaulting another girl. That case is pending in New Jersey Superior Court.
